Issued free to all members, the TEA guide covers all aspects of living in Hyderabad. It lists a selection of the useful addresses that tend to be circulated among expatriates, as well as some subjective commentaries concerning life in the Twin Cities.  With 120 pages, the coverage is reasonably comprehensive, and includes information on Moving to Hyderabad, Getting Settled, Shopping & Services, Leisure Time, Health, History & Culture, and comes complete with a section of Useful Telephone Numbers.

The guide can be obtained from any Committee member, or from the Walden Club at any of the regular Friday get-togethers.

Non members are welcome to ask for a copy, but will be asked for a small (Rs 500) donation to our charitable fund.

Kids' Travel and Activity Guide to India

A unique guide, specifically designed for children to have fun as they travel through India. Each chapter concentrates on a city or state that has been recommended by children who have found exciting activities to do there,

Every section of the guide is focused on educating and entertaining children. The guide does not give accommodation listings, transport recommendations or other sections that are regularly found in guide books. It is intended that the Kids' Guide be used in conjunction with an adult oriented travel guide to the region in question.

The guide costs Rs 650, of which Rs 500 is donated to children's charities. It can be obtained from any Committee member, most good bookshops, and from the Walden Club at any of our regular Friday get-togethers.

Overseas sales are handled through the official Kid's Guide website.

Guide Map of Greater Hyderabad

The most comprehensive street map of Hyderabad currently available, the Guide covers most of the Greater Hyderabad area. Major roads are named, but the smaller alleys and residential streets are often un-named. The index is arranged for communities and landmarks, and can be a trifle idiosyncratic. It is, however, the best street guide currently available, and can be of immense value if your driver is not quite sure of his bearings.

Available at the Walden Club on a Friday, we are able to offer this invaluable publication to our members at a specially negotiated price.

We regret that we currently have no facilities for online purchasing, but overseas residents are welcome to in order to obtain a quote for overseas delivery
