Regular Activities:
Lunch Club – is held on the first Thursday of every month and members and their guests can ‘drop in” and meet new people and socialise with other expatriates in town. We meet at one of the many excellent restaurants in Hyderabad – all are welcome and details can be found in our events section or contact us at [email protected].
ISB LIBRARY – as a TEA member you will be entitled to use the extensive library situated in the Indian School of Business at Gachibowli. At the moment it contains some 13,000 books covering topics such as management, economics, finance, leadership, self help, psychology, children’s books and fiction as well as a good range of reference books and encyclopaedias. They subscribe to 365 local and international magazines and newspapers, and also subscribe to 30 electronic databases (financial news, company information, business news, management literature, and analysis to mention a few) and 2,500 e-journals that can be accessed in the library on their computers. There is a good selection of videos and a growing collection of CD-ROM’s for adults and children; they have a lot of the DK publications for children. There are additional facilities such as video conferencing which may also be available. All this is in the most stunning setting on three floors decorated with wonderful paintings and sculptures. There are links for lap tops, study rooms, quiet areas to sit at desks or opt for a comfy chair and admire the views from the top floor. The library is open from 8am to 2am seven days a week, with exception of important national holidays. Access to this facility will be for TEA Members only.
TEA TIMES – our monthly newsletter is sent out on the 1st of each month. It contains articles about life in Hyderabad, things to see and do in Hyderabad and the rest of India as well as reviews, recommendations and general information.
